Like many modern women, I’m extremely busy. When I’m taking a break, I’m often thinking about what’s left on my to-do list. One of the biggest gaps I’ve identified in my daily schedule is time-management. The greater my responsibilities, the worse my time management skills become.

Saturday April 5, 2014, the Art of Chanel Christoff Davis will be exhibiting at the Legacy of Service Annual Image Awards in Dallas, Texas. This years event will honor Pastor Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III and mark 26 years of the organizations service to the local community. Four original Christoff Davis illustrations, called “Sisterhood”, were designed for this special occasion. See the illustrations below.
The Art of Chanel Christoff Davis continues to evolve and grow with new product offerings. I am so geeked about this new product because I searched all over to make sure the T-Shirts are the best quality available on the market. Starting at an unbelievable price point $20! What!!!!! Get out of town.
One of my New Year’s Resolutions this year is to draw/sketch everyday. Artists/Illustrators follow this practice to keep ideas flowing and to constantly develop their technique. I started January 1st and have seen a vast improvement in my personal technique/style.
Right now on www.ChristoffDavis.ETSY.com!!!! Show the one you LOVE how much you care. And if you can’t be with the one you LOVE, Love the one your with…..#loveisintheair
I’m starting a new series on Christoff Davis featuring the blogs that I love. I follow many blogs that give me an endless supply of inspiration and visual stimulation. One such blog is April Heather Art.
April Heather is an illustrator, muralist, embroiderer and lifelong artist who I simply adore. She features her portfolio work, commission projects, and daily sketches on her blog. Swoon! April even worked for on a costume crew for a Disney film. Be still my heart!!!!!!
Please join me in giving April Heather Art a round of applause for sharing her talent with the world. Learn more about April and check out her work, HERE. See some of her illustrations below!
Most artists paint from their own experiences and everyday life. I paint aspirational images usually inspired by pop cultural references, music, religion and fashion. In my first series of paintings, I pay tribute to the beauty and strength of women. Women teach our kids, nurture our families, and enrich our communities. I am a woman! Did I tell you that? Lol…So this collection of paintings means a lot to me. I hope you love these images as much as I do.
Celebrate a special woman in your life this month, and tell them how much they mean to you.
“What a dull world we would live in if we were all the same.”
Rarely do I come across a modern artist whose work is so captivating and innovative that I am drawn in immediately. Dutch photographer Ruud van Empel’s World series is breathtaking.
