for November, 2014
My art has allowed me to embark on a journey of self discovery and growth that I could not have imagined. It has made me challenge personal boundaries and express my creativity in such an amazing way.
I want to thank every person (too many to name) who has attended my shows, bought an art piece, shared my art with your friends, and commented on my social media posts. The love you have shown me is real and deeply appreciated. Thank you for allowing me to share my artistic expression with you.
I am truly Grateful!

The Art of Chanel Christoff Davis was interviewed by “White Sugar, Brown Sugar”, a blog dedicated to supporting and educating people about transracial adoption in America. The author of the blog Rachel Garlinghouse has been featured on Melissa Harris-Perry Show, NPR, Essence Magazine, and Huffpost Live.
In the article, I share my artist journey and what inspired some of my most popular african-american paintings.

Trust your strengthens, gifts, talents and abilities. When you struggle or waiver in your truth, stop and challenge those negative thoughts. Why are you second guessing yourself, and does that doubt hold up to your truth? Write down your discoveries and begin to reframe internal messages. You will find that what’s bugging you can’t hold a candle to your accomplishments. Trust yourself and continue to remind yourself why you are so great. It’s a daily practice. I challenge you!
Hi fantastic Christoff Davis readers! My name is Jacquin and I am the owner and editor of the Interiors by Jacquin company and blog. I am glad to be a guest poster today on Chanel’s blog! Thanks for tuning in!
